Michael Tan is an Arthur Liman Fellow with the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project for 2008–2009. His work focuses on advocacy and litigation regarding the prolonged and indefinite detention of noncitizens. After his fellowship, he will be serving as law clerk for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Michael is a graduate of Yale Law School.
